The 2010 Holiday Season is fast approaching. Thanksgiving (here in the USA) is just 10 days away; and Christmas, Chanukah, Kwanza, Ramadan, et all, are just around the corner! I just wanted to let everyone know that I’ve got a number of different articles coming related to Holiday themes, issues and concerns. With the Holidays coming, technology can go a long way to helping you out with purchases, purchasing decisions, shipping, as well as communicating and celebrating with family members across the country and the world.
iTechGear.org is dedicated to helping users make the best use of today’s technology in a way that is easy for everyone to understand. As such, I’ve got the following articles planned over the next few weeks. I’ll be updating this post (and reposting it) with links as items get completed:
- Skype 5.x How-To for Mac, Windows and Linux – A 4 Part Series
- What’s Needed
- Setting it Up and Making a Call
- Troubleshooting
- Video Calls on the Go
- Holiday Buyer’s Guide – A 4 Part Series
- Computer Hardware (Mac/Windows/Alternate OS’)
- Computer Software
- Cool Gadgets & Electronics (Mobile Phones, Tablets, etc.)
- Digital Cameras for All (Still & Video)
- Shopping On-Line and Shipping – A 2 Part Series
- Where to Get Stuff
- The Most Reliable Shippers (Who to use when & who to avoid)
If there’s anything that anyone would like me to cover, please let me know as soon as you can so I can work it into the schedule and get to writing.
